2020 has been a couple of months full of curveballs for all of us in the international travel industry. The Team at Buffelsdrift Game Lodge made a really tough decision on Friday, 26 March 2020 to temporarily close the gates to the reserve and send most of our staff home to their families.At Buffelsdrift Game Lodge, we are ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all at the lodge during this pandemic. Our experienced management team continue with the running of Buffelsdrift Game Lodge with all the necessary safety measures in place, which includes looking after our wildlife and making sure all the animals are healthy and happy during this time.We know that we will all get through this very hard time together, and once the lockdown has lifted, we excitedly look forward to when we can welcome our guests once again, to enjoy your time with us and making your experience great! We look forward to being able to educate our guests on our Free Roaming Cheetah experience and their natural environment, now that they are a part of our family.Although we would love to encourage postponing your trip to Buffelsdrift Game Lodge rather than cancelling completely, we do understand this may not be an option for everyone. Owing to the current international COVID-19 pandemic and President Ramaphosa regulations that have been put in place recently, we understand there will be a change in some of our guests travel plans in the coming months.We would like to inform you of the options guests have of moving their bookings to another date (withing 12 months of your current visit date), free of charge, and to note that our standard cancellation policy remains as is.Our Cancellation Policy:- 4 weeks prior to arrival 50% of full amount- 2 weeks prior to arrival 100% of full amountRequests for refunds will be considered by Management.
