Running from 29 March to 3 April 2022, The KKNK is a Karoo establishment everyone has been sorely missing. Dedicated to celebrating South Africa’s unique culture and art through the eyes of homegrown artists, the KKNK attracts visitors throughout South Africa and the world to the Western Cape, Oudtshoorn. Performing and visual arts are all on display, honouring the rich history of Oudtshoorn and the Klein Karoo.But it’s not all about the fun and glamour. The KKNK also hopes to constructively aid in nation-building through the vital arts field. It helps develop sustainable platforms, art networks, and economic and social development programs that help artistic South Africans grow towards a better future.Just as the Buffelsdrift foundation hopes to foster grassroots change in how we conserve our critical wild heritage, the KKNK hopes to promote and foster our shared artistic and cultural heritage.
